Sunny Cords started in 2016 with a simple thought: a glasses chain can simply be beautiful too.

Not as an afterthought. Not as a necessary evil. Florine Kemp founded Sunny Cords under the Australian sun, with one conviction: if you're going to wear something around your neck anyway, it might as well be something you're proud of.

What began as a small frustration about lost and tucked-away glasses grew into a movement. Today, our glasses chains and necklaces can be found in more than 800 stores in 40 countries, from opticians in Amsterdam to leading concept stores in Tokyo and Dubai. Not because we pushed so hard, but because the idea was so obvious: eyewear jewelry. Jewellery and function, at the same time.

In 2026 we introduce the Ring Edit®, a necklace with a ring especially for your sunglasses. No cord, no clip. Just a necklace you wear, with a place for your glasses.
